The Posters and developing ideas

The objective of the posters is to show the drivers (how the bus can reduce the traffic)

The idea of the poster is to show how the bus can reduce the numbers of the cars in the street.

Street and Neighborhood Design

Developing the ideas and Programs

The Programs that i will use to produce this movie are:

1- Sketch up: to design the neighborhood and the street that ends with the bottle nick

2- photoshop: to add the last effects to the neighborhood and the street design. Edit the cars and the bus with some elements. Design the helicopter shadow.

3- After effect: to make the motion to the elements (cars, bus, helicopter and street). Edit the whole movie.

4-Avid: to make the last editing to the movie and edit the sound effects.

Story Board and Sketches

The story of the animation movie will begin a small neighborhood. First an image of alarm clock will apear showing its 7 am, which is the time that most people go to work. then the all the cars will start moving towards the street, until they all meet in a bottle nick and they all meet big traffic jam and stop.

The next part of the movie will be the soluotion. A next morning with the same neighborhood, but instead of using cars people will ride one bus. This bus will go in the same direction that the cars took in first part, and when it reach to the bottle nick the bus will go on and it will not stick in any traffic.

Developing the ideas

i decided to take the Public Transportation as the main soluotion for the traffic jam in Sharjah

For the Movie production, First i though to make the movie by shooting real objects, using buses and cars, but it was difficult to find the place for this to shoot, and to find a bus with a driver.

Then i decided to make an animation movie, because it easier to represent the problem, with providing the soluotion. also the idea is understandable, and its easier for the viewer to get the point.

The Solutions

After I've done my research, and meeting some people are expert of traffic and roads i found the main solutions are:-

-car pooling

-Reducing the number of cars for each family and house

-Buyung motor picks instead of cars

-Using the Bus and public transportation

-Waking up earlier to escape from morning traffic

-Sharing a car

Now i have to research more to pick up one of the best and most helpful of these solutions.

The Media

My target is the drivers, so i have to reach them by the media they most use or they always intersted in :-

1-Movie

Drivers always intrested in cars, so in T.V they like cars and racing channel. I decided to make an AD commercial providing solutoins and suggestion how to reduce the traffic by drivers telling them what they should do, moreover, this movies could post in car website, also some thing the drivers would intrest in.

2-Radio commercial

Radio is the only media the drivers can use while they are driving, i count it as an easy way to reach them fastly, so iam going to produce a radio commercial also providing suggestion and solution.

3-posters

Another way to reach them in the traffic jam, hanging posters in the street or the places known with traffic problems where the car goes slow and they can see it well and easly
