The Media

My target is the drivers, so i have to reach them by the media they most use or they always intersted in :-

1-Movie

Drivers always intrested in cars, so in T.V they like cars and racing channel. I decided to make an AD commercial providing solutoins and suggestion how to reduce the traffic by drivers telling them what they should do, moreover, this movies could post in car website, also some thing the drivers would intrest in.

2-Radio commercial

Radio is the only media the drivers can use while they are driving, i count it as an easy way to reach them fastly, so iam going to produce a radio commercial also providing suggestion and solution.

3-posters

Another way to reach them in the traffic jam, hanging posters in the street or the places known with traffic problems where the car goes slow and they can see it well and easly

The target

after doing my research about traffic, and be familiar with main reasons in general, i decided to make the target for this campaign is the drivers. because if i made the campaign for other targets who have also resposeblety for traffic jam, like the police department, construction companies, the message may not deliver to them fully, because they are not as many as the drivers, also some of the causes of the traffic, they dont have much to do about it, unlike the causes it cames because of the drivers.

How to select my target and know the main reasons of traffic jam ?

The second step of traffic jam project is select the target and know the main causes of the problem and how to fix them, to start designing the elements of the campaign, and to reach for them i have to make 3 research:


1. public survey

its about asking the drivers about traffic jam, how it affects them in social life and ask them about the main reasons of traffic in their opinion.


2.polic department research

in the policemen point view, the one who are responsible about rouds and traffic, i may make some interviews with them and take thier opinion about traffic jam, the resons and solutions.


3. civil engineers research

i'll interview some civil engineers and take thier suggestion to reduce the traffic in the rouds of sharjah.

The Idea

My idea is about traffic jam in this project, i want to show in this project the problems that people suffer from through the traffic, how the traffic jam affect people life and enviroument, the main causes of traffic jam, and in the end i want to apply the soulutions that could reduce or remove the traffic after making the research and interviews.

The reason for picking this idea

Actually im one of the people who really suffer from the traffic, and im getting alot of problems because of that,speacially in my classes in the university, so i decided to make survies, researchs and interviews about traffic trying to know the main causes of it so i can suggest for the people who are responseble the soulutions.
